Information We Collect

My Refill Stock makes use of Microsoft’s enterprise-grade Azure cloud services to manage accounts and store information entered using the app. No data (only user settings) are stored on the local device. We are serious about data security and do not share your data with anyone else.

My Refill Stock accounts are created using an email address and password. The password is stored using strong encryption and we are unable to see it. In the event that you forget your password, you must use the Reset Password functionality in the app, which will use your email address to verify your identity. The sign-up process will also capture your name, which we may use to communicate with you, when required.

Within the app, the name of your business (organisation) and shop are collected, in order that you are able to select them and see relevant information. The names of your staff members is also collected, so that you can specify which person refilled a container. All other data collected by the app is non-personal (e.g. products, containers, batched, refills).

All data can be maintained and deleted using the app.

Diagnostic Data

My Refill Stock collects diagnostic data to help us to support our customers and improve the quality of the app. Diagnostics information is used to log errors and crash events - a unique ID is captured, which we can use to link to an account, to enable us to provide user support, when requested. However, no personal data is captured and we do not share the data with anyone else.

Analytics Data

My Refill Stock collects anonymous analytics data, such as which features are used, to help us improve the app. We do not share this data with anyone else.

Data Usage

We use the information we collect to operate and improve the app and customer support.

We do not share personal information with outside parties, except to the extent necessary to accomplish Refill’s functionality.

We may disclose your information in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal requirements; to exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims; to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud or abuse, violations of our policies; or to protect our rights and property.

In the future, we may sell to, buy, merge with, or partner with other businesses. In such transactions, user information may be among the transferred assets.
